COVID-19 FAQs
What changes are being made at camp?
Camp capacity will be limited this summer and campers will remain in cohort/cabin groups with limited interaction between other groups. We are following guidelines set forth by the American Camping Association and the CDC for operating overnight camps.
Are there any changes to drop off or pick up?
Yes, we will be assigning drop off times and parents/visitors will not be permitted inside of the camp lodge.
Pick up will also be staggered and we will not be holding a closing ceremony. The camp video will be emailed out to camp families on Closing Day.
What pre - camp precautions should I take?
All participants will complete a 14 day health pre-screening and will be asked to refrain from large gatherings 14 days prior to camp.
Will everyone be required to wear a mask?
Yes, masks will be worn when two cabins/cohorts must be in the same space. This time will be limited as much as possible. We understand that some campers may be unable to wear masks and will not require them to do so.
How will staff be trained?
Our staff will have training on COVID-19 symptoms and containment as well as increased cleaning measures for camp facilities.
What if I am uncomfortable attending camp right now?
We understand that everyone has a different level of comfort with COVID-19 and the CDC guidelines. We are doing everything we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at camp and encourage everyone to do what is best for them at this time.
